Join Alberta Canola for the 35th Annual General Meeting. The 2023-24 audited financial statements and the budget for the current fiscal year will be reviewed along with voting on any resolutions brought forward.

Alan Hampton, Chair of Alberta Canola's Research Committee and Research Symposium MC Jay Whetter will set the stage for a day of research engagement.

We know how to grow canola, but do we know how canola grows? Crop Physiologist Nate Ort will guide us through how canola grows, develops, and responds to abiotic stress that is reducing yield.
- 10:30 AM
Has canola hit a yield plateau that is keeping growers from profitably increasing production? The Canola Council of Canada has done a deep dive into the data, and identifying the barriers to bumping up yields will help direct the day's discussion on research needs.

Join Jay Whetter as he welcomes the researchers to give a quick update on what their team is working on, and what they are excited and worried about in their research area.
