Ready to take your leadership skills to the next level?
Two Alberta canola farmers will receive 80% coverage of their enrollment in both LeaderShift InSight and LeaderShift InSider paired with three one-on-one coaching sessions.
Powered by LeaderShift Inc. and supported by Farm Management Canada, these online programs are designed to fit a busy farm schedule, with each being three hours of sessions each week over four weeks.
Gain a deeper understanding of who you are, how you work, and your untapped leadership potential—and discover new ways to put that insight into working on your farm, in your community, and across the agriculture industry.

Who Can Apply?
The Walter Paszkowski Farm Leaders Award was design to support canola farmers in Alberta who are interesting in leadership training to help them on their farms, in their communities, and across the agriculture industry.
The Opportunity
Alberta Canola is proud to work with our strategic partner, Farm Management Canada, and LeaderShift to provide canola farmers in Alberta with opportunities for leadership training. See the upcoming online training session information below. Both programs below are included in the Walter Paszkowski Farm Leaders Award, plus an additional three online coaching sessions with program leader, Kelly Dobson.
About Walter Paszkowski
In recognition of Water Paszkowski’s lifelong contributions, leadership, and achievements, which have left an enduring impact on the canola industry and the communities he has tirelessly served, Alberta Canola proudly unveiled the Walter Paszkowski Farm Leadership Award in January 2024.
Mr. Paszkowski's leadership journey has played a pivotal role in the development of the canola industry in Alberta, and in the formation of the Alberta Canola Producers Commission.
Mr. Paszkowski was inducted into the Alberta Agriculture Hall of Fame in 2020.
