Farmers in Alberta that have sold canola and paid a service charge on canola to Alberta Canola since August 1, 2020 are eligible canola growers and can register to vote in the online 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Alberta Canola Producers Commission.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 during the Alberta Canola Conference in Lethbridge or growers can participate and vote online.
Eligible canola growers can be individuals or represent a corporation, partnership, or organization.
Growers attending online must register to vote by 12:00pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 to ensure the integrity of electronic voting.
Growers attending in person are also encouraged to register as voters in advance.
This will allow Alberta Canola to verify eligible voters (those who sold canola since August 1, 2020), and to collect the required contact information including the designated representative of a corporation, partnership, or organization.
Alberta Canola has been a farmer led organization since its inception on August 1, 1989. As a canola grower in Alberta, your vote decides who will be your voice on the board of directors. Voting on resolutions at the Annual General Meeting helps guide the organization on its mission to ensure the long-term success of canola farmers in Alberta.
Registration for voting at the 2023 Annual General Meeting closes at 12:00pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2023
We strongly encourage you to read the FAQ's on the voting process
Alberta Canola will provide all registered guests with a YouTube link for viewing the AGM live online
