Troy is the Senior Director, Government & Industry Relations at the Canola Council of Canada and joined the organization in 2021. Based out of the Council's Ottawa office, Troy spearheads CCC's government relations activities, trade policy, market access and development work, and advocacy on key issues of interest to the value chain. Troy also represents the Council on the Canadian Agri-Food Trade Alliance's Board of Directors. Prior to working at the Council, Troy was a manager at a government relations firm in Ottawa, where he was focused on advancing clients' public policy priorities at the federal level.

Troy has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen's University where he focused on international relations.
