Patti Durand, based in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, grew up in a family farm business near Teulon, Manitoba. Her career has included agriculture, marketing and finance, while managing businesses alongside her husband Larry. Her book, The Future Leader, draws on the many lessons she observed while coaching and facilitating hundreds of family business conversations. Patti has often wondered, "What if people started preparing for leadership earlier and were encouraged to lead the process?" Patti's time in her business, Brightrack Consulting is split between coaching, speaking, workshop leading and collaborating with other professionals to improve and create tools for business families.
