Kelly Green joined the Canadian Canola Growers in 2009. In her role, she is responsible for the strategic and tactical marketing, communication, and public relations activities of the organization. She also oversees the association’s corporate giving commitments.
Prior to joining CCGA, Kelly worked in a variety of agriculture roles in communications, issues management, project management and market research.
Kelly is a member of Agriculture in the Classroom Canada’s Board Advisory Committee, chairs the Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Crops Communications Committee, and holds memberships in Canadian Agri-Marketing Association and Manitoba Farm Writers and Broadcasters Association. She has a long history of volunteering with organizations including Agriculture in the Classroom Manitoba, the Accelerator Mentorship Programme through the FAO, the University of Manitoba Faculty of Agriculture Mentorship Program, and local community sports groups.
Kelly continues to be involved in the family mixed farm in southwest Saskatchewan and is a 4-H alumni. In her spare time, you can often find Kelly burning off energy and listening to tunes on her favorite walking trails with her dog. Kelly has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina.
