Kelly Green joined the Canadian Canola Growers Association as Director of Communications in 2009. In this position she is responsible for the strategic and tactical marketing and communications activities of the organization.
Prior to joining CCGA, Kelly was a consultant and writer for Issues Ink, an agricultural communications and issues management company.
Before moving to Manitoba, Kelly led international consulting projects for Information Services Corporation in Saskatchewan. She also worked in business development for Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and the Ministry of Agriculture in Saskatchewan.
Kelly is a member of the Manitoba Farm Writers and Broadcasters Association and the Canadian Agri-Marketing Association. She volunteers several local community sports organizations.
Kelly grew up on a mixed beef and grain farm near Swift Current, Saskatchewan, where she remains involved in the family farm. In her spare time, you can often find Kelly burning off energy and listening to tunes on her favorite running trails or helping her son with his 4-H beef club projects.
