Dr. Breanne Tidemann is a research scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Lacombe, AB. She grew up on a grain farm in west-central Saskatchewan but completed all of her degrees at the University of Alberta. She holds a B.Sc in Biological Sciences, and an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences with projects focused on weed science and weed management. Breanne started with Agriculture and Agri-food Canada in 2016 as a Weed Scientist/ Field Agronomist. Her research program in Lacombe focuses on integrated weed management strategies, and novel weed management practices, as well as weed biology and ecology.
