Keisha Hollman is a PhD candidate under the supervision of Drs. Strelkov and Hwang in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Science at the University of Alberta. She completed an undergraduate degree in Environmental Conservation Science with a major in Land Reclamation, followed by a Master of Science in Plant Pathology also under the supervision of Drs. Strelkov and Hwang. Keisha’s PhD research focuses on clubroot of canola, with an aim to identify new and emerging clubroot pathotypes and characterize pathogen virulence on canola carrying second-generation resistance. In addition to her interest in research, Keisha is passionate about teaching and has served as a sessional instructor for PL SC 495 (Integrated Crop Protection) and PL SC 355 (Cereal, Oilseed, and Pulse Crops) at the University of Alberta. She enjoys public speaking and sharing her work at conferences and field days, and is dedicated to helping producers navigate the ever-changing face of clubroot
